Dart Energy Ltd. (DTE.AU) said Friday it has agreed to buy out joint venture partner BG Group PLC (BG.LN) from 14 coal seam gas licenses in the U.K., increasing its net prospective resource in the country to around 5.2 trillion cubic feet.

Dart said in a statement it has agreed initial terms to sell gas to BG from any developments in the U.K. tenements, and also has a three-month option to acquire two licenses wholly owned by BG in Germany for no extra cost.
