Coal of Africa Ltd. (CZA.AU) Tuesday said it has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of Paul Holmes as managing director of its Nimag Group.
The company, incorporated in Western Australia in 1980 and now listed in Australia, London and Johannesburg, operates coal projects and metals processing company Nimag in South Africa.
It said Holmes' areas of competency include finance, business development, research and development and project management. He joins from Nedbank Group Ltd.'s (NED.JO) Nedbank Capital unit, where he worked in project finance in the oil, gas, power and mining sectors.
"With his unique blend of relevance and wisdom, Paul is a most welcome addition to the team; helping us to broaden the business and enabling us to meet our long-term growth objectives," Chairman Richard Linnell said.
Holmes' appointment is effective Aug. 1.
