eAutoclaims and GreenLeaf Auto Recyclers Announce Automated Parts
Estimate Review and Technology Agreement
OLDSMAR, Fla., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- GreenLeaf Auto Recyclers, a
leading supplier of recycled parts and services to the Automotive Collision
Repair industry, and eAutoclaims (OTC:EACC) (BULLETIN BOARD: EACC) , a leading
provider of managed collision repair services and insurance claims processing
technology applications, announced today a technology licensing agreement that
enables the GreenLeaf "Automated Parts Review" process. The technology
agreement for EMS estimate part searches powered by eAutoclaims'
eDataTransfer(TM) streamlines the recycled parts procurement process and
improves recycled parts utilization. "Automated Parts Review" and parts
sourcing is provided through the GreenLeaf online "Rapid Parts Locating System"
and the GreenLeaf America Call Center.
eAutoclaims will provide the EMS technology tools to automate the processing of
estimate part searches. eAutoclaims will power the estimate upload for
GreenLeaf comprehensive collision estimate reviews to GreenLeaf America.
Currently, GreenLeaf processes over 500,000 transactions a month through
traditional methods and its fast growing online tool "Rapid Parts Locating
System." The technology will automate a significant portion of these
transactions.
eAutoclaims and GreenLeaf will display parts review results in the eAutoclaims
EMS rules based Audit tool, AuditPro(TM). Insurance companies can now use one
application for a complete electronic EMS auditing tool and recycled parts
locater with the salvage parts results right under the OEM part number in the
estimate. The combination of the two features will improve recycled parts
utilization, improve efficiencies and reduce costs.
The system allows eAutoclaims network members the ability to conduct high-
speed parts reviews, the ability to view parts and prices from multiple recycle
yards in a single transaction, and determine availability; all in an automated
fashion. Collision centers and appraisers now have the ability to locate
recycled parts, receive a quote and order parts in one simple transaction. By
combining the Automated Parts Review with eAutoclaims AuditPro(TM) rules-based
audit program, shops and appraisers can ensure compliance to insurance company
guidelines prior to submitting the estimate to the insurance company or
providing a copy of the estimate to the consumer. User support is available
from the GreenLeaf America Call Center and technical support is provided by the
eAutoclaims organization.
"We are also very excited about the integration of eAutoclaims' EMS tool,
eDataTransfer(TM) into our web site. eDataTransfer(TM) will enable our current
and future parts customers to upload their entire repair estimate and GreenLeaf
will display the complete results for all available parts in inventory,"
continued Mr. Milligan. "This will make getting quotes on the entire estimate a
one-click process and streamline the entire process for all users."
"This agreement with GreenLeaf will provide our clients with greater savings
generated by improved salvage parts utilization, where it is appropriate,"
stated Eric Seidel, President/CEO of eAutoclaims. "The new tools will also
further automate our internal processing of estimates for the eAutoclaims
Managed Collision Repair Program and eliminate the phone calls previously
required to confirm parts availability." In addition to the parts review by
GreenLeaf, the licensing of eAutoclaims technology is consistent with the
eAutoclaims strategy to provide value-added web-based applications to service
providers in the insurance industry. "eAutoclaims has been using our
proprietary EMS tools in our production environment for quite sometime now. The
technology has evolved and we and our clients have derived great value from
this product. Providing a license to GreenLeaf for parts procurement is a
natural extension of our ASP sales and the impact to the industry is expected
to be meaningful." Seidel continued, "The people at GreenLeaf are committed to
providing collision shops and carriers with value added technology to improve
efficiencies, reduce cycle time and reduce indemnity expenses."
