Insurance House Chooses ADP's Managed Repair Solution to Run
Outsourced DRP Network Pilot
Insurance House Taps ADP's Managed Repair Solution for Turnkey Managed Repair
Network
SAN RAMON, Calif., May 18 /PRNewswire/ -- ADP Claims Services Group, a leading
provider of integrated business solutions for the property and casualty,
collision repair and automotive recycling industries, today announced that
Insurance House, a Managing General Underwriter for Southern General Insurance
Company, Marietta, Georgia, has selected ADP's Managed Repair Solution, powered
by eAutoclaims to administer its managed repair programs. The technology behind
ADP's Managed Repair Solution will streamline appraisal assignments and
accelerate the claims process.
"We were looking for a solution that would allow us to increase customer
satisfaction while reducing cycle time and our loss adjustment expense," said
Tom Dinkelman, Manager, Material Damage Claims, Insurance House. "We knew it
was a tall order, but ADP's Managed Repair Solution delivers. By working with
them, we are gaining a real competitive edge."
ADP's Managed Repair Solution offers insurance companies a turnkey managed
repair network with more than 2,500 collision repair facilities and a national
network of independent appraisal resources. The contracted vendor network is
managed by eAutoclaims. The solution provides insurance companies with
web-enabled, streamlined, electronic assignments and dispatch within a fully
managed repair network. Electronic assignment and claims processing eliminates
the time-consuming traditional claim process of phone calls, faxes and emails.
"ADP's Managed Repair Solution is designed from the ground up to meet the
mutual goals of managing costs to carriers while allowing them to deliver
outstanding service to their customers," said Daphne Li, ADP Claims Services
Group Vice President of Marketing. "Our end-to-end, outsourced solution
provides carriers with a cost-effective alternative to creating and managing
their own DRP program."
"We anticipate that ADP's Managed Repair Solution will have a very noticeable
impact on our productivity," said Dinkelman. "The real-time transmission of
assignments and immediate access to estimates and photos will reduce cycle
time. Not only does that make our customers happy, it allows us to minimize
loss of use and rental expenses."
Just as important to Insurance House is access to a managed network of repair
facilities. "Prior to implementing this solution, we had no way to manage a
direct repair program for our customers," said Dinkelman. "Now, thanks to
ADP's Managed Repair Solution, we have the buying power to deliver great
service at a reduced cost."
Insurance House was also impressed with the auditing capabilities of ADP's
Managed Repair Solution, which provides assurance that estimates are prepared
in accordance with Insurance House's repair guidelines. ADP's Managed Repair
Solution includes a line-by-line desk review of each estimate written by one of
its network shops verifying rates, appropriate repair and alternative parts
usage. Insurance House is able to track and coordinate various aspects of the
claims process while helping to manage the overall repair quality.
Mr. Dinkelman was also pleased with the ease of implementing ADP's Managed
Repair Solution. "We got the system up and running on a Tuesday morning. By
that afternoon, we were already trained and using it to make assignments."
ADP's Managed Repair Solution is powered by eAutoclaims, a claims service
provider of the turnkey managed repair network.
