                           CHART CONTRACT

Following press comment, UBC Media plc, the commercial radio broadcasting
company and leading independent radio programme producer, announces that its
production division, Unique, will cease to produce the Hit 40UK radio programme
with effect from January 1st 2004.

The effect of this change is immaterial to turnover and profitability.  As
stated in the trading update of 26th September, the company remains confident
about prospects for the year, especially in respect of advertising revenues. The
company will announce its interim results on Monday November 24th.
