Teletouch Communications Files Schedule 14A Preliminary Proxy Statement and Notice of Special Meeting of Stockholders March 1, 2

Tyler, Texas-based Teletouch Communications, Inc.
(AMEX:TLL) today reported that it has filed its Preliminary Proxy
Statement and notice of a Special Meeting of Stockholders. The Special
Meeting of Stockholders of Teletouch Communications, Inc., is
tentatively scheduled to be held on March 1, 2006, at the Hotel
Adolphus, 1321 Commerce Street, Dallas, Texas 75202, at 10:00 a.m.
local time. The preliminary Proxy Statement is subject to review and
comment by the SEC, and as such, this filing may be subsequently
