LOUISVILLE, Ky., May 11  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ThermoView Industries, Inc.
(AMEX:THV), which designs, manufactures and markets home improvements under the
brand name  "THV: America's Home Improvement Company," today officially
announced the Grand Opening of its newest retail operation located in
Barboursville, West Virginia.

The THV Model Store opened its doors to customers on May 2, 2005, and has
already enjoyed a positive reception from the retail market in its first week
of sales.  ThermoView CEO Charles L. Smith stated, "While we realize that one
week of sales is not a long track record, we are encouraged and optimistic
about the future of this location and the prospect for long-term success of the
THV Model Store program based upon early results from this store."  Smith
continued, "As I have indicated before, the THV Model Store program represents
our efforts to expand stream-lined stores into strategic market segments, which
we believe could be the standard for how THV achieves continuous growth. This
June, we will be celebrating our first anniversary of operations in the THV
Model Store program at our Paducah, Kentucky and Peoria, Illinois facilities. 
With each passing month and each new location, we learn more and more about the
keys to success of this program."  Smith added that he expects in the near
future further press releases regarding the THV Model Store program, including
new openings.
