Transnational Financial Network Elects Dennis Orsi to Board of Directors

Transnational Financial Network, Inc. (AMEX:TFN), a
California-based wholesale and retail mortgage banking firm, announced
today that Dennis Orsi has been elected to its Board of Directors.
   "We believe that Mr. Orsi's experience in mergers and
acquisitions, finance, and accounting will be important addition to
our team," said Joseph Kristul, TFN's Chief Executive Officer.
   Dennis Orsi, CPA, JD. is currently President of Sunshine Greeting
Cards, a greeting card manufacturer controlled by Mr. Orsi and his
family. He is also the non-executive Chairman of the Board of
Safeguard Security Holdings, Inc. a provider of corporate and
industrial security systems and personnel. Before assuming control of
Sunshine, he spent several years as a merger and acquisition finance
executive for Pulte Corp., a national home builder. He has also served
as Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Ensign Bank, a $2 billion
New York Savings bank and spent more than ten years in the New York
Finance community. He was a Vice President in Mortgage Finance at
Kidder Peabody and Senior Vice President & Co-head of Corporate
Finance at Nippon Credit Bank's U.S. Investment and Merchant Banking
subsidiary Eastbridge Capital and Asset Management. He received his
J.D. at St. John's University and his B.S. in Finance at Syracuse
University.
