The Thai Capital Fund, Inc. Announces Distribution

PHILADELPHIA, June 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Thai Capital Fund, Inc. (NYSE MKT: TF) (the "Fund"), a closed-end management investment company, today announced a dividend to the Fund's shareholders of U.S. $0.668608 per share. This dividend will be paid in cash from ordinary income, short-term capital gain and long-term capital gain.  The long-term capital gain portion of the distribution is $0.175129, the short-term capital gain portion of the distribution is $0.461354 per share and the ordinary income portion of the distribution is $0.032125 per share.

Shareholders who participate in the Fund's Dividend Reinvestment and Cash Purchase Plan will receive an equivalent dividend amount in shares of the Fund.

The dividend will be payable on July 12, 2013 to the shareholders of record at the close of business on June 28, 2013. The ex-dividend date will be June 26, 2013.
