                            Offer for Subscription

The Board of Directors of Sky Capital, the London and New York based
Stockbrokers, is delighted to announce that Sky Capital has received
applications in excess of #18.2 million ($31.9 million) by way of an Offer for
Subscription of Series B New Convertible Preferred Shares (the "Offer").
Furthermore, owing to the continued interest shown in this Offer, the Directors
have decided to extend the closing date of the Offer until 31 January 2004 to
allow for further investment.

The funds from this Offer will considerably strengthen the Company's balance
sheet and this, in turn, will give Directors the flexibility to continue the
Company's growth strategy in New York and London.

the holiday period to allow for further uptake. The level of applications we
have already received is, in my view, a clear reflection of the level of
confidence being shown in Sky Capital by such a large number of private client
