      The distributions declared today have been declared pursuant to each Fund’s 
      level rate dividend policy. Because each Fund has substantial 
      investments in real estate investment trusts which will classify 
      distributions to each Fund subsequent to the end of a calendar year as, 
      generally, ordinary income, net capital gain or return of capital, it is 
      expected that some portion of the distributions declared by each Fund 
      will be similarly characterized for tax purposes subsequent to year end.
