NEW YORK, Jan. 12  /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R))
today listed the common stock of Nevsun Resources Ltd. under the symbol NSU.
The company's shares also trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the same
symbol.

Nevsun Resources, Vancouver, BC, is a natural resources company primarily
engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mineral properties
in Africa. The Company's principal mineral properties include the Tabakoto
property and the Segala property, which are located in Mali, West Africa, and
the Bisha property, which is located in Eritrea, north-east Africa.
