NOTIFICATIONS OF DISCLOSABLE INTEREST

The Company has received the following notifications from Montpellier Group Plc
("Montpellier") and The Union Discount Company of London Limited ("Union").

On 26 September 2003, Montpellier transferred 500,000 Ordinary shares (which
represents 6.69% of the shares in issue) registered in its own name to Union, a
wholly-owned subsidiary of Montpellier.

As at 21 October 2003, Montpellier ceased to have a beneficial interest in the
shares of the Company as a result of the disposal of Union to Browallia Discount
Company Limited.

Silverslaggen a.b, a Company owned by Mr P J P V Gyllenhammer, a director of
Browallia Holdings Limited (the holding company of Browallia Discount Company
Limited) has an interest in 595,492 shares in the Company, representing 7.96 per
cent of the issued shares.

As at 21 October 2003, Union and Silverslaggen a.b. together held 1,095,492
shares in the Company, representing 14.65 per cent of the issued share capital.
