Montpellier Group announces that on 1 October 2003, it issued 748,249 new
ordinary 10p shares to satisfy requests to exercise maturing options under the
Company's Save As You Earn scheme. Following the issue to employees, the Company
repurchased 492,595 of the shares. As a result, the Company now has 79,068,431
ordinary 10p shares in issue. Included in the new issue and repurchase by the
Company were transactions by Mr Paul Sellars, Group Managing Director, and Mr
Roger Feast, Chief Executive of the Construction Division, details of which are
set out below.
