Health care professionals gathered at the Westin Fort Lauderdale as winners were announced in eight categories: CEO, Community Outreach, Educator, Employer, Health Care Company, Innovator, Hospital and Citizenship Award. The event was attended by finalists, their colleagues, and local business leaders from the area. A loud cheer was heard as Metropolitan’s name was announced as the winner of the 2011 Health Care Company award.
