COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., April 22 /PRNewswire/ -- "Maytag is proud of its over
50 years of service supporting the US military throughout the world.
We have terminated two employees in Kuwait who violated Department of Defense
and Company policies by working together to photograph and publish the
photographs of flag-draped caskets of our service men and women being returned
to the United States.
Maytag deeply regrets these actions and fully concurs with the Pentagon's
policy of respecting the remains of our brave men and women who have fallen in
service to our country."
