Mercury Air Cargo Names Former UPS Executive as Executive Vice
President
Key Addition Adds to Mercury Air Cargo's Strength in Europe
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Mercury Air Cargo, a wholly owned
subsidiary of Mercury Air Group (AMEX:MAX), announced today the appointment of
Peter Kelly, a former 12-year executive manager with United Parcel Service Inc.
(UPS), as Executive Vice President, Business Development/Strategic Planning.
The appointment is effective August 9, 2004.
Kelly brings more than 18 years of experience in airline and cargo sales and
service to the Mercury Air Cargo team. Most recently, he served as Division
Manager for UPS Air Cargo, where he oversaw the expansion of the European air
network in Europe and the Middle East. As Cargo Sales Manager and later Air
Cargo Sales and OPS Division Manager for UPS, Kelly established a centralized
cargo reservation center and managed direct customer sales. Prior to his
12-year career at UPS, Kelly served as Cargo Sales Executive for Trans World
Airlines, Inc.

the customers it serves. Kelly will be based in London, U.K.
