Compass Financial Resources Joins Securities America

Kansas-based firm has 10 advisors with $340 million in client assets

Securities America, a wholly owned subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc. (NYSE American: LTS, LTS PrA), is pleased to welcome Compass Financial Resources.

The Olathe, Kansas-based firm has 10 advisors and 10 support staff members with $340 million in client assets. It also has offices in Hutchinson, Kansas, and Lincoln, Nebraska.

Compass Financial Resources President Russ Lane said Securities America’s Midwestern culture and 30-year history fueled his decision to join the independent broker-dealer.

Lane is also founder and president of Ameritime, a registered investment advisor that provides Kansas School District employees and administrators information and guidance regarding the state’s pension system.
