RNS Number:7831P Intec Telecom Systems PLC 16 September 2003 Intec wins Euro2m InterconnecT contract with Belgacom Mobile London - 16 September 2003 - Intec Telecom Systems, a global provider of operations and business support systems (OSS/BSS) for telecommunications companies, today announces a contract with Belgacom Mobile, Belgium's leading supplier of wireless telecommunications solutions. Intec will supply its InterconnecT(TM) billing solution to support Belgacom Mobile's portfolio of mobile voice and data services. The agreement, for both software and services, is valued at Euro2 million euros. Voice services constitute the largest portion of Belgacom Mobile's business. Intec's InterconnecT solution ensures that the company will maximise its revenue performance on these services, providing a system that can accurately rate and bill for a wide variety of traffic. Belgacom Mobile connects with carriers in many countries, as well as numerous domestic competitors, and its ability to generate and audit interconnect bills is critical to its financial performance. "InterconnecT provides an ideal platform to support Belgacom Mobile's existing and future billing requirements.
