                     NOTIFICATION OF INTERESTS OF DIRECTORS


On 29th September 2003, certain directors of Hemscott plc (the Company) were
granted options to acquire ordinary shares of 5 pence in the Company, as
detailed below, exercisable within 10 years of the grant of the options. No
consideration was paid for the grant of the options.

All options previously granted to Rosalyn Wilton, Stephen Roche and Natalie
Newton have been cancelled and the following new options have been granted.
