HD Partners Acquisition Corporation Announces Amount of Liquidating Distribution

SANTA MONICA, CA (AMEX: HDP) (AMEX: HDP.U) (AMEX: HDP.WT) announced today that the Company has determined the amount of trust funds available for distribution to its stockholders as of the record date of April 30, 2008 to be $149,622,864.99. Based on this amount, the Company will pay out $7.97989 per share to its stockholders as of the record date. The Company has set the payment date of May 5, 2008.

No payments will be made with respect to any of the Company's outstanding warrants or to the shares owned by the Company's initial stockholders prior to the initial public offering.
