NAMPA, Idaho, May 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- MPC Computers, a wholly-owned subsidiary of HyperSpace Communications, Inc. (AMEX:HCO), today announced its support for the new Dual-Core Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor 5000 series. This new design, which provides great strides forward in performance, reliability, and power efficiency, will be the basis of upcoming versions of MPC's NetFRAME(R) line of servers. These new Dual-Core Intel Xeon processors deliver up to 2x the performance of single-core servers (compared to previous generation 64-bit Intel(R) Xeon(R) processor based servers), making them the best choice for virtualization and business critical applications.
