HyperSpace(R) Announces Closing of Its Initial Public Offering



DENVER, Oct. 6  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- HyperSpace(R) Communications, Inc.,
(AMEX:HCO.U) a provider of Internet, wide area network and remote access
acceleration and optimization software products, today announced the closing of
its initial public offering in which 1,800,000 Units were sold at a price of
$5.50 per Unit.  All Units were sold by HyperSpace(R), there are no selling
shareholders.  Each Unit is comprised of one share of common stock and two
warrants, each to purchase one share of common stock.  The Units will trade as
Units for not less than 30 days after the commencement of trading on October 1,
2004.  Thereafter, the Units may be separated into common stock and warrants
that will trade separately under the symbols HCO and HCO.WS, respectively, at
the discretion of the underwriters.
