NEW YORK, Aug. 11  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Magic Lantern Group, Inc.
(AMEX:GML), a leading North American distributor of educational content and
e-learning delivery systems with operations in Canada and the U.S., announced
today that the Company has entered into a non-exclusive distribution agreement
with Acorn Associates, Ltd., a New York based production and distribution
company.  Since 1982, Acorn Associates has produced over 4,000 segments for CNN
as well as numerous full-length programs for The Travel Channel, The Family
Channel and Public Broadcasting.  This agreement expands Magic Lantern Group's
educational, home video and international broadcast market presence to include
Russia and other newly independent states.

According to the agreement, Acorn Associates will distribute Magic Lantern
Group's educational video products to Russia and its surrounding states,
including Ukraine, Belarus, Moldova, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan,
Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzebekistan, Latvia, Lithuania and
Estonia.  These regions represent new areas of market penetration for the
Company.
