Farmstead Telephone Group Discusses Corporate Strategy in
Interview on the Aurelius TV Network
EAST HARTFORD, Conn., July 27 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Farmstead Telephone
Group, Inc. (AMEX:FTG) announced today that Jean-Marc Stiegemeier, the
Company's President, CEO, and Chairman, was featured in an interview on the
Aurelius TV Network on Monday, July 25, 2005. Founded in 1984, Farmstead
Telephone Group has historically served as a telecom equipment distributor and
reseller to large enterprise companies and the United States government.
Farmstead remains committed to its core business of reselling telecom
equipment, but the Company is also evolving into a carrier-based provider of
Hosted IP Telephony solutions for the Small to Medium Businesses (SMB) market.
During the interview, Mr. Stiegemeier, a veteran of the telecommunications
industry with over 30 years of experience, discusses the major paradigm shift
the telecommunications industry has faced as the market shifts from traditional
voice to VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). Recognizing this shift, he
relates his role in restoring Farmstead's core business of reselling telecom
equipment and also strategically redirecting the Company into the future by
forming One IP Voice, a wholly owned subsidiary, which offers carrier-based
hosted Voice over Intelligent Protocol (VoIP) services, targeting the SMB
market.
To view the interview in entirety and learn how Farmstead's bundled One IP
Voice will provide the industry with a more affordable, reliable, and secure
