The Eastern Company Declares Regular Quarterly Cash Dividend

The Eastern Company (NYSE Amex-EML) today announced the declaration of its regular quarterly cash dividend of nine cents ($0.09) per share, payable September 15, 2011, to common stock shareholders of record as of August 19, 2011. This dividend represents the Company’s 284th consecutive quarterly dividend.

The Eastern Company is a 153-year-old manufacturer of vehicular and industrial hardware, locks, metal castings, coin collection and smart card products. It operates from eleven locations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Taiwan and China.
