Ecology and Environment, Inc. Board of Directors Declare 18¢ Dividend and 5% Stock Dividend

BUFFALO, N.Y., July 20  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of Ecology & Environment, Inc. declared a six-month dividend of 18 cents per share payable on or before August 10, 2007 to shareholders of both Class A and Class B common stock on record as of July 29, 2007.

In addition, the Board declared a 5% stock dividend to be distributed to both Class A and Class B shareholders on or before August 31, 2007 to shareholders of record August 1, 2007.  No fractional shares will be issued as a result of the dividend; such fractional shares will be paid in cash at the last reported sale price of shares on the record date.  The Board took this action to expand the trading volume of the Company's common stock and to provide additional value potential to shareholders.
