Eagle Broadband, Inc. (AMEX: EAG), a leading national provider of broadband, Internet Protocol (IP) and digital communications technology and services, and ANEW Broadband, worldwide provider of (IP) communications services, jointly announced today they have launched their joint collaboration of ANEW Vision-- a triple-play service offering, specifically designed for multi-dwelling buildings. Eagle and ANEW have launched the all IP based service for an exclusive condominium complex in Miami and have already signed up 100 subscribers who are already receiving the services. “Market forces are now in place to secure a spot for IPTV. The delivery of triple-play voice, video, and data services is a vitally important opportunity for service providers of all types -- from communities everywhere to major incumbent carriers to independent carriers serving their subscriber base,” stated Daniel Contreras CEO of ANEW Broadband. “There is a continued big broadband deployment on the cable and satellite sides and you need companies like ANEW and Eagle Broadband that offer a broad IP based product portfolio to be able to address those needs.” Eagle’s IPTVComplete™ service, the television part of ANEW Vision, includes direct access to more then 250 completely digital quality channels of high-demand programming from the world’s most popular entertainment providers, using a mix of standard-definition and high-definition set-top-boxes. “The unstoppable success of IP networks has enabled ANEW Broadband to offer voice, data and now video services using a single unified IP network. Our ANEW Vision triple-play package bundles IPTV, full service IP telephone, with unlimited domestic long distance calling and high-speed broadband internet with speeds of up to ten megabytes per unit for the condo complex,” said Carlos Lopez, CMO of ANEW Broadband. This fully operational condominium demonstrates that ANEW Vision by Eagle Broadband and ANEW Broadband is living up to its promise to deliver a one-stop-shop solution for the telecommunications industry. ANEW Vision is delivering a true convergence of IP-enabled services, while at the same time reducing the implementation intervals down to a fraction of that required for traditional fiber or copper-based transmission systems. This network takes convergence to another level. By leveraging ANEW’s extensive backbone (Cima Telecom), its Global VoIP capacity (Cima Wholesale), the Service-Provider-in-a-box (Auris Telecom), Eagle’s IPTVComplete and South-Florida CLEC (ANEW Broadband), ANEW has all the building blocks in place to deliver a next-generation triple-play solution to MDUs in North America, as well as being able to provide Video on Demand solutions worldwide. “Eagle has the content contracts in place to deliver a fully digital rich and robust IPTV solution today for triple-play operators,” said Dave Micek, President and CEO of Eagle Broadband. “We are no longer just talking about TV over IP, we are doing it. Subscribers are coming on line now. This event is most significant as it marks the beginning of our stream of recurring revenue from IPTV. With ANEW Vision we are primed to cut into the classic cable versus satellite debate, as we can give subscribers better all-digital quality programming for a less expensive fee.” About ANEW Broadband Headquartered in Miami, Florida, ANEW Broadband® member of the CIMA Telecom group of companies is a Licensed CLEC and a leading provider of IP-based communications, security and entertainment services to multi-dwelling units.
