American Defense Systems, Inc. “ADSI” (AMEX: EAG), offering advanced solutions in the design, fabrication and installation of transparent and opaque armor, security doors, windows and curtain wall systems, announced today that ADSI is developing ship window prototypes designed by Genvac Aerospace, Inc. (Genvac) a Cleveland, Ohio based thin film technology company. ADSI will provide ballistic windows that incorporate thin film coatings required to prevent condensation in cold climates and reduce glare. The windows are being delivered by Genvac under contract with BAE Systems Australia for use by the Australian Navy. Anthony J. Piscitelli, Chief Executive Officer of American Defense Systems, Inc., remarked, “ADSI is proud to work with Genvac Aerospace, Inc. and BAE Systems Australia to deliver the thinnest, lightest transparent armor for the Australian Navy. Combining the strength of our ballistic assembly with thin film enabled heating and antiglare capabilities affords the vessel with superior protection and visibility. We certainly look forward to a successful program and the prospects of future projects with this team.” About American Defense Systems, Inc.
