RNS Number:6924Q Conister Trust PLC 08 October 2003 Conister Trust PLC Scrip Dividend The Board of Conister Trust PLC announces that it will be offering a scrip dividend alternative in lieu of the interim cash dividend of 0.3p per share which was recently announced as being proposed in respect of the Company's half-year ended 30 June 2003. The reference price of 28.30p per share is based on the average of the middle market quotations for the Company's shares for the five business days commencing 1 October 2003 as derived from the Daily Official List. The entitlement is therefore 1 new ordinary share for every 95 ordinary shares held on the dividend record date of 3 October 2003. In accordance with the Company's Articles of Association any balance remaining will be carried forward to the next dividend payment date. If all shareholders opt to receive ordinary shares in lieu of their dividends, a maximum of 260,658 shares would be issued representing 1.05 per cent of the current issued share capital. Application will be made for up to 260,658 ordinary shares to be admitted to AIM in respect of the scrip dividend alternative on 31 October 2003 and trading in these shares is expected to commence on 31 October 2003.
