                                 BOARD CHANGES

The following replaces the Directorate Change announcement released today 11
July 2003 at 09:32 under RNS number 4437N.

John Ardley is a non Executive Director, and not an Executive director as
previously stated, and Hamilton Comely is an Executive Director, which remains
as previously stated. All other details remain unchanged, and the full amended
text appears below.

Chesterton announces the appointment to its Board of John Ardley and Hamilton
Comely.

John Ardley is a Director of the following companies; Chanderhill Limited, St.
Quintin Investments Limited and Viceroy Court Limited and has, in the last five
years, been a director of CB Richard Ellis Europe Limited, CB Richard Ellis
Financial Services Limited, Reith Lambert Limited, Atlantic Fund Management
Limited, Insignia Richard Ellis Limited and Insignia Richard Ellis Europe
Limited.

Hamilton Comely is currently the Managing Director of the Group's Facilities
Management division and is a director of the following companies; Chesterton
Education (New London) Limited, Chesterton plc, Chesterton Property Asset
Management Limited, Chesterton QRS Limited, Chesterton Scotland Limited,
Workhouse Management Limited and Workplace Management Limited.

Mr Comely joins the Board as an executive director and Mr Ardley joins as a
non-executive director.

All changes to the Board take place with immediate effect.

There are no details regarding Mr Ardley or Mr Comely that require disclosure
pursuant to section 6.F.2 (b) to (g) of the Listing Rules.
