Item 8.01. Other Events.

 

On April 22, 2020, CorMedix Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release to announce that the Company completed the previously announced sale of $5.5 million of the total $6.0 million of its available tax benefits to an unrelated, profitable New Jersey corporation pursuant to its application to participate in the New Jersey Technology Business Tax Certificate Transfer (NOL) program for State Fiscal Year 2019. A copy of the press release is filed as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
