                               BOARD APPOINTMENT





The Board of Cater Barnard today announces that further to the announcement of
29 November 2003 it has pleasure in appointing David John Williams, Chairman of
Navitas Hemway Maintenance & Environmental Limited ("Navitas") to the Board of
Cater Barnard as an executive director with immediate effect.


Stephen Dean, Chairman reports: "the Board is delighted to welcome David to the
Company where his extensive experience in facilities management and building
services and his knowledge of the commercial property sector will provide an
invaluable basis for Cater Barnard's entry into its chosen new markets".


In the last 5 years Mr Williams (49) has been and continues to be a director of
