Carleton: Joint Strike Fighter Power Module Order

Carleton Technologies Inc, a Cobham company based in Orchard Park, New York,
USA, has been selected by the EDO Corporation to be the supplier for the
Pneumatic Power Module for the Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) Suspension and Release
Equipment Programme. The Pneumatic Power Module is a device that stores
pneumatic energy which is then used to release ordnance from the JSF weapons bay
and missile storage racks. Carleton will design, develop, qualify and deliver
this system during the System Demonstration and Development (SDD) Phase. For
the SDD Phase, deliveries of approximately 100 units will begin during CY2004.
Low rate initial production begins in CY2006. The programme will require the
production of more than 15,000 units over some 20 years, with a revenue
potential in excess of US$60 million.

Completion of Harrison Acquisition

Cobham announces that regulatory approvals have now been given for the
acquisition of the business and assets of the Harrison division of the Sierracin
Corporation, located in Burbank, California, first announced on 6 October.
Harrison design and manufactures high pressure fluid connectors for military and
commercial aircraft as well as tooling for aircraft manufactures and providers.
The acquisition has been completed and the final agreed consideration was
US$10.5 million. Harrison will operate as a Cobham Aerospace Systems company
managed by Stanley Aviation based in Denver, Colorado. This acquisition was
funded from existing resources.

Allan Cook, Chief Executive of Cobham said:

"The award of the JSF contract underlines the benefit of Cobham's teaming
approach with major suppliers. Including this order Cobham companies will now
have US$200K worth in each JSF ship set.

"Harrison will enhance Stanley Aviation's market position in fluid distribution
systems and extends Cobham's presence in the US."
