ThinkEngine Networks (AMEX:CGN), an innovative provider of carrier-grade
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and TDM audio conferencing
solutions, and Persony , a cost-effective Web conferencing solution
provider, today announced they have entered into a reseller agreement
providing for the distribution of VShow software with the VSR 1000 Voice
Services Router. Under the agreement, ThinkEngine will immediately offer
a branded version of Persony VShow web conferencing software with its
VSR1000 Voice Services Router to enterprise and conferencing service
provider customers.
Persony VShow uses a standard Web server to host Web meetings and
dramatically reduces the cost of Web conferencing. Attendees can join a
meeting with a Flash®-enabled Web browser and
do not need to download any software.
ThinkEngine provides next generation audio conferencing solutions at
next generation pricing. The VSR1000 conferencing solution is scalable
from service provider to enterprise customers ranging from hundreds to
thousands of ports.
"We like the ease-of-use of Persony VShow," says Mike Wixon, ThinkEngine’s
Vice President of Product Management. “The
integration of the two products is seamless, as Persony’s
solution uses standard Web servers and browsers. Our customers can
deploy the solution very easily and quickly.”
"We believe Web conferencing should be just like Web hosting, which you
can get from many service providers," says Eric Chen, CEO of Persony. “The
partnership will allow more service providers to offer high quality
audio and Web conferencing at very affordable pricing.”
In early 2007, Persony and ThinkEngine plan to further integrate the two
products, offering an integrated audio control panel during web
conferences. This will give conference moderators single click access to
both web and audio conferencing.
