A.M. Castle & Co. Announces Date for Third Quarter Earnings Release Tuesday, November 1, 2005

FRANKLIN PARK, Ill., Oct. 21  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- A.M. Castle & Co. (AMEX:CAS), a North American distributor of highly engineered metals and plastics, today announced that it will release third quarter and year-to-date results for the periods ended September 30, 2005 on Tuesday, November 1, 2005.

Management will hold a conference call at 11:00 a.m. ET that day to review the company's results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2005. The call can be accessed via the Internet live or as a replay. Investors may access the webcast through http://www.earnings.com/ .
