Atwood Announces Date of Record for Shareholders to Vote at Annual Meeting

HOUSTON, Dec. 3  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Atwood Oceanics, Inc. (NYSE: ATW), a Houston-based International Offshore Drilling Contractor, announced today that the Board of Directors has declared that the shareholders of record at the close of business on December 15, 2009 shall be entitled to notice of and to vote at the annual meeting of shareholders to be held on February 11, 2010 at the Company's corporate offices in Houston, Texas.
