American Community Newspapers Appoints Nancy Lewis as Corporate Major Account Sales Director

Publishing Ad Sales Veteran to Focus on National Advertising Opportunities 


DALLAS, Dec. 10  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- American Community Newspapers Inc. (AMEX:ANE) ("ACN") today announced the appointment of Nancy Lewis as its corporate major account sales director. In this position, Ms. Lewis will be responsible for national advertiser accounts across the company's four geographic markets. She will be reporting directly to Gene Carr, the chairman and chief executive officer of ACN.

Ms. Lewis joins ACN with 20 years of print-advertising experience, holding a variety of positions including major account sales and director of marketing. Prior to joining ACN, she was the major/national sales manager for the El Paso Times and the Texas New Mexico Partnership. Prior to her tenure at Media News Group, Nancy worked for Gannett, Freedom Communications, Thomson Newspapers, Cox Newspapers and the Pennysaver.
