RNS Number:5677I Affinity Internet Hldgs PLC 11 March 2003 11 March 2003 Affinity Internet Holdings plc Affinity Sells Internet Business Affinity Internet Holdings plc, ('Affinity' or the 'Company'), the communications service provider today announced it has completed the sale of its Internet services business comprising of Affinity Internet Limited and Sonnet Internet Limited to Cleverview Investments Limited on 10th March 2003. The consideration for purchase is #250,000 and the assumption by the buyer of the debts of the Internet business. Affinity's Internet services business generated a turnover of #10.6 million and operating losses of #6.5 million in the 9 months ended 30th September 2002. The business represented 18.5% per cent. of Affinity's total revenue at that date. Under the terms of the purchase and sale agreement, Affinity has been granted a perpetual license to use the breathe brand to continue to market its telecoms services under the breathe name. June May, CEO of Affinity said, "Affinity's strategy has not changed. The agreement will enable Affinity to continue to sell white-label, integrated communications services using the breathe services. Affinity will now be able to focus on delivering our profitable mobile and fixed line telephony business.
