As you know very well i have not even been holding VTS for a long while. I realise you might have lost all your small GLD gain recently but try not to take out your understandable frustration at your failure by posting cr*p about others. What was it, was it about 70p you paid for Lloyds? If so, no wonder you'd rather discuss the football! ;) |
Posted at 15/2/2010 18:42 by battlebus xb2 you leave yourself open for criticism when in the space of a week you go from 30p to a 50% drop not even 20-30 but 50! let me get this right 10p a share!. Why would you by a share that was likely to drop by 50% wrong or right you have made a fool of yourself. I am still a holder here and will probably add again as all my investments are made on a 3-5 year time frame i do not day trade. Why would i sell at the minute for a loss when in my view this share is finding it's base.So if you do still hold shares here you will be selling in the morning before the 50% collapse. Apologies if i have honestly got you wrong but you must surely see where i'm coming from. |

Posted at 04/2/2010 10:11 by agreeable The one gactor that should not be overlooked is that Bob Morton Chairman of TNO is an ex partner of the two biggest revenue generators in VTS, so an escape tunnel is easy to dig!Also I am told that 'we are going bust' is being openly discussed by senior employees of VTS |
Posted at 05/11/2009 10:34 by egoi I think all the news is 'out there' now, good and bad, notwithstanding there might be a funding to come at around this level, larger especially if they are looking at acquisitions for example.As a general market rule, the market likes having the news, and that often leads to a short period of share price consolidation followed by a strong rally imho (look at Carpetright for example). That's what I expect here, with trading since May looking decent, unless wider markets totally tank of course. Also the supposed threat of suspension, which I never took as other than fantasy myself, has gone anyway. As for the idea that TNO could get this company for 25p, big lol imho, wishful thinking maybe from some people? 60-80p more like I think! |

Posted at 19/10/2009 13:34 by nickcduk I read about the story when it first broke. VTS created companies and floated them on ridiculous valuations. They put the investors in at a fraction of the share price and then they gifted those shares to charities in order to get tax relief. Charities couldn't find any buyers for those shares. Pretty clear case imho and I would be surprised if they didn't manage to nail them for a change. |
