05/1/2017 17:09 | "management fees will be reduced by 60%" .....is that generous? Under their management my investment is down 50%! I'm paying them to lose my money...wish I had a job like that..i'd be very wealthy. Why arnt management fee's linked to share holder returns/results I.e. they get paid on dividend and share holder redemptions only? Surely if they can't manage a return within the timescale they stipulate they should be fired....shouldn't they? | praipus
05/1/2017 13:31 | RNS Number : 3683T EIH PLC 05 January 2017 EIH PLC ("EIH" or the "Company") Update on EIH's investment in Evolvence India Fund PCC ("EIF") As at 30 June 2016 the Company's largest investment was US$20.1m invested in EIF (capital called of US$45.1m, less refund of capital contributions of US$25.0m), equivalent to 31.2 cents per share. At that reporting date the Fair Value (unaudited) of the Company's investment in EIF was US$20.6m, equivalent to 31.9 cents per share, representing a 1.03 x multiple over cost. In order to maximize the value of the unrealized portfolio and to execute orderly exits, EIF's Investment Manager has extended the life of the fund until 31 October 2019. During the extension period the management fees will be reduced by 60% from the previous level and are capped at a fixed annual amount. The Company pays certain annual management fees and expenses to EIF in respect of its commitments to that fund. While these costs are embedded in the capital account of EIF and do not appear in the profit or loss for the Company, the reduction in the management fees by 60% nonetheless represents a cost reduction for the Company. The Directors have reviewed certain underlying financial information provided to us by EIF's Investment Manager and we remain confident that as EIF's underlying portfolio matures and further realisations are achieved, further cash distributions will be received. 25/10/2005 18:51 | Well, I just had a quick game at homahjong. Have to say the interface is interesting being 3d, but the graphics really aren't that slick and neither are the player graphics. There wasn't even a chat function, most people socialise whilst playing. So that is a big turn off. There weren't any money games available, only play money. The game could be designed to run faster imo. I can't see it taking off i'm afraid. The engine is just not slick enough. | aerotus
25/10/2005 18:42 | Thanks big. I will check it out soon. | aerotus

19/10/2005 18:20 | Ok big, thats interesting. However, do yo know how long it takes to finish a game of mahjong? Each single game can take at least 5 minutes, going up to 10-15mins depending on how slow players are. | aerotus
17/10/2005 16:17 | Aerotus, to answer your specific points. Have a play on www.homahjong.com. If you disconnect or throw a game it completes and your player discards the tile from the wall. That means you dont win but the game completes. Unlike Poker you get a new set of 3 partners for every game - different proposition but interesting I think. | bigbasher
