03/12/2007 09:24 | Done benson. It shows just how much these have fallen and just what is acheivable now that they have the funds. Cash is king and they've got £1m to invest. | cliley454
03/12/2007 09:08 | Please put the chart on here. Thanks. | benson
03/12/2007 09:07 | Now top of the leader board. Also take a look at CUC, massively undervalued and about to make an announcement. | encarter
03/12/2007 09:01 | Nice! and more to follow. We should finish today around the 20p mark imho. Then when the announcement is made we should see another nice rise. Here's who the directors are. and here's what they held 4th July 2007, though there's been some buying since i think Basically there's no stock around and not much buying on the way down, which means mms will have to offer 20p if they want to balance their books | encarter
03/12/2007 08:32 | Even without news these should be over 20p with assets such as Billy Elliot which has paid back their investment and is now bringing in profit. | cliley454
03/12/2007 08:29 | The mms have raised it on little volume because there is very little stock available. Most is held by management and they would never sell at these kind of prices. It can't go vey far the other way as they have £1.1m in cash and no debt. | cliley454
03/12/2007 08:19 | encarter beware, MM's have raised theis on next to no volume, could easily go the other way. GL | sa0705
03/12/2007 08:16 | From Sundays Mial "KEEP an eye on Secora, unchanged at 9p. Entrepreneur and 16.3pc shareholder Richard Thompson has become chief executive of the company, which acquires and exploits intellectual property rights in the media and live entertainments market. He has a big following in the City and many interesting contacts. Word is the curtain will soon go up on an earnings enhancing deal. Jemma George remains as an executive director. " | encarter
03/12/2007 08:09 | Only 50000 shares bought and it's up 20%. With such a thin market any news could take these back to 60p. | encarter
01/12/2007 09:14 | Tipped in the Mail today! | toby tots
28/11/2007 16:51 | Up 16%, are they about to announce the next deal, is someone stake buliding to make an offer or is it just the fact that they have ongoing revenues and £1.1m in the bank with no debt and are about to go into profit. | encarter
11/11/2007 06:41 | I note that they have a new website. | encarter
11/11/2007 06:33 | It should be something media related so intresting times for shareholders. With over 75% of stock tightly held we only need a bit of buying to get theses back above 20p and with £1.1m cash plus value in the rights they hold we can't lose. Could it be this? | encarter
01/11/2007 11:17 | I've been trying to find out how the Diana tribute is going in Oz but i can't get any figure, though i expect it's doing well being the 10th anniversary. Billy Elliot is still getting the punters in and will continue to do so for some time. I note from results that they have recouped any outlay and it's all profit from now on. With all that cash in the bank these are due a re-rating imho. It will be interesting to see what the next investment will be if they are planning to broaden their strategy. | daveyboyclarko
01/11/2007 11:09 | They cashed the shares in for a reason, so more news is on the way. From last results " The existing board of Secora offers experience in media, entertainment, technology, intellectual property rights and consumer brands sectors, rather than specifically live entertainment. We believe that it is in the interest of shareholders to broaden our strategy in this respect and in order to rebuild the business. We are excited about the opportunity ahead and recognise that while the Company has sufficient funds to cover overheads and very small deals, it is likely that we will require additional funds for any significant transaction. We shall present such an opportunity to shareholders at the appropriate time." IMHO that time is now | daveyboyclarko
01/11/2007 10:50 | Bought a couple of small lots this morning. I wonder what Richard Thompson's plans are!!! | tiltonboy
01/11/2007 09:58 | a great bit of business it means they got over $1.7m for Wonders of the Human Body Exhibition. diana and billy elliot are worth ot least the same making seco worth over $5m including cash. | cliley454 |
