-- Chattanooga event organizers, music venues, attractions and
more are coming together for a triumphant Fourth of July weekend.
After a long pause on gatherings, Chattanooga's live music and event scene is
booming with concerts, outdoor movie nights and fireworks. Here are
4 Scenic City summertime ways to spend the Fourth of July weekend
with family in Chattanooga:
1. LIVE MUSIC
- July 2: Nightfall Concert Series
hosts its traditional free Friday night live music series, followed
by the Lookout Wild Film Festival. Located in Miller Plaza and
Miller Park.
- July 3: Music & Movie on the
Green features live music from Nubreed and a showing of Spider-man:
Into the Spider-Verse. Located on the Chattanooga Green at Ross's
Landing in the Riverfront District.
2. GOOD EATS

Picnic on the lawn of the Chattanooga Theatre Center. The Tennessee
River and adjacent Coolidge Park complete this ideal backdrop for
the theatre's BBQ fundraiser.

the firecracker fruit of the day! Sweet Georgia Sound serves up
live music on the Lodge Cast Iron Stage. Located at First Horizon

3. OUTDOOR ADVENTURE
- All Weekend: Get outdoors with activities just steps from
downtown Chattanooga. Try electric
surfboards and electric Swincars from Adventure Sports Innovation,
paddle a SUP or kayak from L2 Outside, hike or bike Stringer's
Ridge, splash into a swimming hole at North Chickamauga Creek Gorge
or go whitewater rafting at the Ocoee River.
4. FIREWORKS & LASER SHOWS
- July 1-4: Area fireworks shows
include Collegedale, Tenn., and
Ringgold, Ga., all within a
25-minute drive of downtown Chattanooga.

features two live music stages and a laser show! Enjoy fun,
familiar tunes from the band Love, Peace and Happiness and others.
Located in Miller Park and Miller
Plaza.
Chattanooga is located less
than a two-hour drive from Atlanta, Nashville, Knoxville, Huntsville and Birmingham. The Scenic City's
wondrous outdoors provide hours of activities, nature and fresh air
all close to an urban downtown located on the Tennessee River.
Chattanooga's walkable core is
filled with restaurants, shops and new experiences for visitors to
enjoy this Fourth of July. The Chattanooga Tourism Co. with support
from the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development is helping
