SCOTTSDALE, Ariz., Feb. 14, 2020 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society (DTMMS)
In this world of "New Age" everything, it is very hard to separate fact from fiction. Sometimes, the old ways just might be the right spiritual path. In any event, tradition should at least get a vote when you are looking for a path to pursue. One such path that has withstood the test of time and has a global student body is the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path supported and taught through the Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society (DTMMS). Through traditional teachings and ceremonies, the vision of DTMMS is to inspire beauty, excellence and knowledge so that all people gain direct access to peace, happiness and a higher sense of purpose.
The Deer Tribe Metis Medicine Society (DTMMS) is home to the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path and seeks to transform the experience of all life through empowerment, hope and inspiration. Spiritual seekers who attend DTMMS programs discover how to make a difference in the world through personal growth.
Sacred Law School & the 30 Sacred Laws: What is it?
What can we learn from the 30 Sacred Laws? From the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path, it is said that these Laws teach us to hear the spirit of nature's voice and to learn from nature's guidance. They are an adventure into discovering your truth, values, and bottom-line principles—creating the foundation for a true dharmic lifestyle in alignment with nature. There is a special emphasis on learning to apply the Laws to your relationship with yourself, others, and Spirit. The result is that you become a healthy cell in Great Spirit's body.
Sacred Law School provides a unique container in which to explore concepts and knowledge that works within the Sweet Medicine SunDance path. The weekends include teachings, group workings, ceremony, personal time and camaraderie in beautiful locations.
Claudia van Corva, Ph.D. and Joerg van Corva, M.A., blend spiritual teachings from the Sweet Medicine SunDance Path with their backgrounds in chemistry, critical thinking, and philosophy. The Sacred Law School workshop is offered in Phoenix, Chicago, Toronto, Germany and Australia. Visit https://dtmms.org/programs/sacred-law-school/ or http://www.sacredlaws.org for more information.
