Leading cardiac remote monitoring
solutions-based company creates a rigorous continuing education
program for remote care monitoring
Geneva Health Solutions (GHS), the leading cloud-based
technology platform and service for managing data from implantable
cardiac devices, has formalized its internal training systems by
launching Geneva University, a business unit within GHS. Geneva
University will be focused on the continuous improvement of all
clinical and administrative processes.
“Implantable cardiac device remote monitoring requires distinct
data analytics skills to properly review arrhythmia data,” said
Yuri Sudhakar, CEO of GHS. “Geneva University enriches the skillset
of our cardiac device technicians, so they can achieve the highest
standards in cardiac remote monitoring.”
Geneva University is being led by Co-founder and Chief Medical
Officer Manish Wadhwa M.D. FHRS, Clinical Advisor Nicolas T.
Skipitaris M.D. FHRS and Chief Nursing Officer Debra Halligan RN.
GHS has brought together a multi-disciplinary team of physicians,
nurses, technicians and technologists who have developed best
practices for remote monitoring of cardiac implantable devices.
“We intend for Geneva University to become part of the ecosystem
of teaching organizations that have created certifications within
the cardiac device space,” said Dr. Wadhwa. “In providing the GHS
remote monitoring service to over 60 practices, our composite
experience has allowed development of a system for training and
continuing education which ensures the delivery of the highest
caliber service.”

specialist in private practice in San Diego, CA. Dr Wadhwa earned
his medical degree from the Penn State University-Thomas Jefferson
