The strength in the share price has been fantastic given the placing , my old favourite never seems to let us down.
I wonder at what price the buyer exbroker mentioned will stop buying?

Morning all
I did at some length discuss with the company the merits of a rights issue not a placing therefore allowing all shareholders to be involved.
Given that they dont want to raise any more equity than this and the considerable extra cost it was decided to go down the placing route.
A convertible was discussed but ruled out due to cost and lack of liquidity, you would need an issue of at least £25M.
Most existing UK shareholders, from what I understand stood their corners, I did, and there are several new instos on board all of whom got scaled back, there are buyers in the market.
From a company point of view, and as I hinted in a previous post they need to have a high pressure vessel in North America, both for expansion as demand is increasing and for contingency planning given all the others are in Croydon.
The joint broker Charles Stanley has a add recommendation and a 285 price target.
It all depends on liquidity and entering the All Share index in June next year in my opinion.
I have a very large sum invested in this company, the longer I own shares the more I will end up making.

I'm in total agreement on that janeann, while not a big percentage placing the value in cash terms was sufficient to allow P.I's to take part, ofcourse they will argue about the costs etc. Placings seem to be happening at an ever increasing rate. The one difference here is i trust the management in their reasonings for the placement and hopefully the better future for the company.

Price holding up well as i write.

Morning battlebus. well while I am sure it will be a good move in the longer term, I get increasingly frustrated at the discrimination against private investors. No doubt the price will wind its way to near the placing -

and for two companies I hold recent placings open to shareholders were above the share price at the time, and now trade higher.

Placing to raise 8.8 million to fund expansion at our U.S. plant in Walton at an issue price of 220 and an dilution of 10%.
No chance for private investors but i presume a necessary evil for long term gain.
A bold move by management which thankfully isn't a low ball price imv.
What will the market make of this?

Seems to be Exbroker....didn't Ali say he sold out at such a great price and therefore doesn't hold any stock in Zotes unless he's had a sudden change of mind and bought 4k?? So he maybe sees value after all at more than 150 ...yes 150 :))
