26/11/2014 10:12 | The Rightmove Interim management Statement on the 6th November stated they had 19,320 agents and Zoopla now has 19,663. Does this now make Zoopla the market leader and account for the 4% decline in Rightmove today? I'm happy to hold for now but will be pleased if it gets over £190 again! | gill17
26/11/2014 08:17 | I have used Zoopla for years. Having always been interested in property having once owned a holiday home and I like to look at the market in case a real bargain in an property auction comes up. Zoopla has the great advantage of giving the last selling price (a few years ago) and then to be able to go straight to street view, so anywhere in the country you can view the area of the property find parks, shops ect When the IPO came up I was interested (220p) when it dropped below 200p I couldn't resist it Maybe I should have considered the typical property buyer, who would be buying in an area they know well and the previous selling price, although interesting, is much less important than the cost of the property compared with similar ones close by. Local estate agents I suppose, have the best knowledge on this They always say buy shares in companies you know and use, I hope I'm proved right in the end Up 2.5% today, now I wish I'd bought some more yesterday | robertfaulkner
25/11/2014 17:24 | As I said earlier, there was massive movement on a very small volume. I didn't see the final trades but 3.5 million were traded so some massive trades went through at the close. At an IPO price of £220 you would wonder who would be selling at such a loss? I researched the house prices in my village earlier on Zoopla and every single Estate Agent locally uses them. The worry here is Agents Mutual, but the brand of Zoopla and Rightmove is very strong and Agents won't risk changing unless they have a beneficial interest in the new Portal. I'm going to hold for now but maybe never buy a recent IPO again! | gill17
25/11/2014 16:33 | Gill, we had better not spend the div all in one go, still it is at least a dividend. (1.1p paid 23rd Feb) Shows it is a profit making company The 15:45 dip seems to have been fully recovered, if I had bought in at 165p it would have gone on dropping, that's for sure Dividends During the year the Group paid pre-IPO dividends of GBP35.5 million. The Directors have proposed a final dividend for 2014 of 1.1 pence per share, resulting in a final proposed dividend of GBP4.6 million. The final dividend represents 43.5% of the Group's profits excluding share-based payments and exceptional items for the period from 1 June 2014 to 30 September 2014. The 2014 final dividend will be paid on 23 February 2015 to those shareholders on the share register as at 5 December 2014. The final dividend is subject to approval at the Group's AGM on 12 February 2015. | robertfaulkner
25/11/2014 16:24 | This has just shaken out the weak holders, sanity is returning I feel! | gill17
25/11/2014 16:17 | Results in RNS in 'News' top of page I haven't read them. they have been there since 7am today, I just found them. No wonder I make bad decisions | robertfaulkner
25/11/2014 16:14 | I topped up at £183 thinking that was the bottom-I hope we close at that price at least. | gill17
25/11/2014 16:11 | 10 November 2014 ZOOPLA PROPERTY GROUP PLC Notice of Full Year Results Zoopla Property Group Plc, the digital media business and operator of leading UK online property portals including Zoopla and PrimeLocation, will publish its full year results for the year ended 30 September 2014 on Tuesday 25 November 2014 | robertfaulkner
25/11/2014 16:06 | Yes I know. The results were exactly what was expected-this is just manipulation by the market makers. Hold tight!! I'm an Agent and won't be moving anywhere in January, Zoopla gives us by far the best results. | gill17
25/11/2014 16:00 | Touched 163.7p mid price at 15:46? Gill do you fancy any more? I'm always nervous that the market knows something I don't know | robertfaulkner
25/11/2014 15:46 | To fall by this amount on such low volume is crazy-I guess I'm in for the long haul now.... | gill17
25/11/2014 14:55 | They could get it even cheaper now What about Alibabar or Google or even Tesco, they have lots of money. Opps Tesco is broke | robertfaulkner
21/11/2014 23:08 | Foxtons already have one. It's their own website. | macminchus
17/11/2014 20:23 | Looks like it will hover around 193/195p until it decides which way to go Wouldn't Foxton's like to buy a great property displaying web site? | robertfaulkner
12/11/2014 17:59 | Oh dear, got my £12k worth at 195p, seemed a bargain price when IPO was 220p, now they have had a low of 193p, it doesn't seem such a steal | robertfaulkner
06/11/2014 19:17 | I'm in for a few at 195p Will my limit strike tomorrow 197p close to buy, so I need a 2p drop tomorrow After a 6.10p drop today is it a big ask? | robertfaulkner
23/10/2014 11:21 | Up 12p one day down 12p the next, very strange If I can sell Lloyds at 76.3p I still want to get in around 200p or a bit below (IPO 220p) | robertfaulkner
21/10/2014 20:55 | I agree senden11 but there is a risk of agents leaving which I believe is currently not factored into the price. Most of these meetings start with which other portal shall we keep day one, but with a view to how long before the agents remove both. | macminchus
18/10/2014 22:25 | Mac, interesting and new info to me, though Zoopla is a household name at the moment, and new, localised competitors will have to have something special to cut it all the way through the UK, particularly in the South-East hub. Time will tell, I suppose. | senden11
09/10/2014 07:15 | It is picking up pace. I would not like to be an investor in this site next year. | macminchus
03/10/2014 13:30 | Wouldn't worry, Zoopla goes in and out of blue / red a lot in a day. It has broker targets of 270-310 apart from citi who are negative on everything lol, and with a positive trading statement, we should be good after results. | lozler
03/10/2014 12:47 | I just saw the bid go a smidgen lower than the price I paid yesterday. What is going on! | nofool
02/10/2014 15:08 | 217 and it's mine too. Let's see.. I like the site. | nofool
02/10/2014 13:12 | Just bought in here, they're really popular here in London and with such a positive trading statement I can only imagine it's upwards from here | lozler
01/10/2014 11:00 | Zoop nearly down to low IPO price of 220p I might buy a few if it drops to 216pish (now 230p) | robertfaulkner |
