In recent presentations they stated that their intention was to provide a top end product. This hire appears to support that statement. In current circumstances they are arguably the only game in town. Good that they appear to be capitalising on that position. There must be a lot of quality people in the industry twiddling their thumbs. Lot's of potential clients also looking for someone able to localise their product.Happy days also I suspect.

Thanks for the note nictys. Seems like Zoo is putting more effort in high(er) quality end products. The new hire had been at Disney for decades. Interesting move.

New hire looks the business. Also bringing his team . Would not join I suspect if did not see big future.A share that is definitely benefiting from lockdown even if they don't shout about it.

In the past a good set of results has been let down by some negative comment by the CEO regarding future prospects. Let’s hope this time it is different.

There’s been enough pointers to a positive 6 months so let’s hope for a rocket and not a damp squib!

From September RNS “ The Company intends to announce its interim financial results for the six months to 30 September 2020 in early November 2020.” Is the share price rising on expectation of good news?

Ticker moved by over 150,000 yesterday which is by my calculations a substantial increase. Also more new jobs on website. Narrative refers to increase in work. Also new project for a major client.

The ticker is certainly motoring along nicely. I suspect all is going well or very well at The moment for Zoo. The latest comments by the company certainly support this view.

The longer the restrictions on our lives continue the deeper into streamed content one gets. I have exhausted all the standard generally US box sets and am experiencing sub titled offerings.(I can recommend The Bridge by the way.)This must be good for steaming companies and as a consequence Zoo.Also I guess as the product of one company is exhausted others are tried and adopted. I suspect Disney are doing well with streaming having decided to focus on that vehicle .All good then and I notice the ticker appears to be racing.

Martina: I admire your positivity. There is the potential for massive growth here and the technology developed is ace. This has been the case for a good few years now across a number of technology lines, from DVD Extra Studio and TAS to ZooDubs and ZooSubs. The only question is whether the management team have been able to seize the opportunities given them. Those of us that have been in this since pre the stock split many, many years ago, have seen lots of "Jam Tomorrow" statements and false dawns as UKn has indicated. I hope for good news tomorrow but I don't expect it. I just want to recoup my original investment of a couple of hundred quid! (It's long been a matter of principle rather than money making for me) Good luck all!

The gam statement reads as very positive From my perspective. Last years ago statement didn’t mention cash levels and I am not sure an admin statement should. Q3 order delivery levels for digital packaging at record levels, dubbing at record levels, confident statement and outlook. I am happy to hold and add as there is a good growth story here in my opinion. NIA and DYOR

I am quite sure that Phillip Blundell the FD and Stuart Green the CEO would not have endorsed such a positive message from the Chairman had there not been good reason. They are both very careful and Conservative when they make comment. As is said....tomorrow will be putting the meat on the bone!

Not sure I agree with you. Double digit right now, given industry hiatus, is impressive. Digital packaging at record levels. Likely to be telling a strong story at capital markets event tomorrow. We have to wait for the numbers, true, but this is encouraging enough for now.

Dissapointing update due to lack of information. No mention of cash. Double digit is a big range. Q1 was 15%. Still it looks like it's a growth business but not the spectacular levels once hoped for.

I’ve not heard of them but they are more on the ball than Zoo with a press release, this is from their website. “As the amount of streaming content available has grown and spread to more global markets, so has the need for multilingual subtitle and dubbing services to bring TV shows and movies to audiences in more languages faster,” said Cory Sher, VP of global sales & business development, Whip Media Group. “We’re thrilled to partner with ZOO Digital and provide to our clients the ability to more efficiently localize their new and catalog content and grow their audiences worldwide.” Zoo Digital uses more than 7,200 native translators to provide subtitles and captions in over 80 languages. “We are very excited to partner with a company so closely aligned with our own digital strategy. We quickly identified a seamless workflow with Whip Media which will provide full transparency on localization order management for their global client portfolio,” said Mazin Al-Jumaili, director business development EMEA, at Zoo Digital. “As worldwide OTT platforms build momentum in local content publishing, both companies are perfectly positioned to offer a global supply chain solution.”

Plus interesting tie up with Whip Media. See Whips website. They look to be progressive. Not heard of them before. Anyone know anything about them?

I noticed 10 job vacancies on the website this morning, a number of which are temporary with the possibility of becoming permanant. It would appear business is going well and the ticker seems to be going at around a million a week or so.
