A fall from 160 doesn’t suggest a lot of good news already built in to me !!!

I think the market is a bit jittery about the trading update. It needs to be good as we cannot afford another shock to support the current share price. I am still 500% in profit so despite fall in share price from peak a fair amount of good news is already built into the current share price

Wasn’t an account lost , it was one project that got cancelled.
And they probably didn’t downgrade as it really has no bearing on the long term potential of Zoos technology.
The drop in price is a market over reaction IMHO. Can happen with small caps , people following the herd.

The house broker kept their forecast the same when the news broke about loosing one big account. I would then assume these growth figures are baked into that because he did not downgrade. DYOR

Will be interesting to see how the jump from 4 million to 7 million minutes translates to money made

Where did you get those numbers from?

Indeed, this growth is reflected in the company’s 2017 outputs: 21 million minutes, 122 million files stored, 250 million subtitles and captions, 121 languages and 40+ formats, according to Green’s presentation.

Zoo has 6500 freelancers according to website. That is quite an increase i think. Such an increase must correlate to some increase in work one would assume.

Lots of sells with little movement in price. Is there a big order out there to soak them up ?

I suppose there is the whole point of trading in shares. If there was strong evidence of increased turnover , the share price would not be where it is now.

So the share price is at a years low. DYOR and see if you think the company is progressing and likely to be increasing revenue. If so , buy the share whilst it’s relatively cheap.

If Zoo was winning loads of awards and boasting massive profits, it wouldn’t be at 58p.

That's my feeling too. Lots of great award winning products but we need to see evidence of strong growth in the turnover to get the share price heading consistently back up. Next trading update will be critical in that respect.

NAB winner - I’m surprised at the level of excitement here . Yes it’s good marketing but that’s all .Surely this stock is all about growing the revenues substantially and earning decent 15% profit margins that Helen alluded to . They need to start performing AS A BUSINESS not a software development story.

Thanks bamboo, that explains it.
Worthy of a RNS I would have thought.

Edit:
1 of 5 winners in their category, perhaps not quite as good as I first thought.

Offer a similar product to Zoo ( in terms of subtitling and cloud management) but they are a much smaller company not focused on localisation. Ie they do not dub.

Looked on Nimdzi 2019 top 100 language services industry chart and they are not on there. SDI are 9th , Zoo are 42nd

A new name to me, and subtitler winner. Any knowledgable views of its products?
