30/4/2012 09:35 | Considering it started the year at 25p and it's just gone from around 10p to 12p, I'd hardly call that soaring. The thing that concerns me (as a holder of a handful, literally, of shares in this company) is that their USP is reducing costs by simplifying workflow, and they have top tech to do this, but they have difficulties staying in profit. Surely, in this economic environment, where everyone is looking to reduce costs, the services should be an easy sell but it appears difficult for them to derive a sustainable profit stream year on year... | anothertim
27/4/2012 13:17 | ZOO Digital shares soar as it bounces back to profit in second half | lucky_punter
27/4/2012 09:38 | Another loss, but it's nice to know the company is once again in a "Strong Position".... | anothertim
29/3/2012 16:07 | Just sold my last 15K so am now right out of these. Been in since Kazoo3D days! Took the hit and moving on. Good luck all. | bodgit
15/3/2012 07:19 | Good to see Foresight buying. Good luck all. | bodgit
29/2/2012 08:30 | Such a pity to see these back down at 11p or so. Down but not out.... Good luck all. | bodgit
06/1/2012 08:58 | Zoo Digital Group chairman and employee trust buy shares 8:43 am by Andre Lamberti | l2user
17/12/2011 11:56 | magnetincognito, thanks for that link. I noted the SG comment that the share price can be frustrating. How true that is! I am still watching and waiting though it 'feels' like the share price is about as low as it will go at the moment - barring any major negative news. That's risk eh! Good luck all. | bodgit
11/12/2011 08:42 | Apparently ZOO are only suffering like others too. This bit from SCSW regarding ETO: "Elsewhere, the Canadian DVD distribution arm continues to decline in revenue and EBITDA terms (down 40% to £2.4m)." 7/12/2011 -"Purchase of shares by ZOO Employee Share Trust". Nearly as good as director buys? The balance of mine are in for nearly free, so I'll hold for a while until the much-expanded product range stages a recovery from the economic vagiaries around at the moment... | napoleon 14th
09/12/2011 13:53 | back from whence she came. | deanroberthunt
08/12/2011 21:44 | I work in the print trade & everyone is finding it very difficult..... ZOO is in a very difficult place & my compnay would not touch em & have looked into the business..... There is a business out there for ZOO but DVD packaging certainly is not it. Be lucky to all & hope ZOO recover, sales teams that actually work are very difficult to come by in these cut throat times. | chesty1
08/12/2011 12:58 | Right - long time ago now. I remember two good phases in SEG - pre tech bubble & recovery '03-Eidos. | napoleon 14th
08/12/2011 08:11 | No on the Eidos takeover. SCi stock price rocketed as someone ensured their stock offer made the Ex EA guys offer look low. I sold in the 500p region as it flew up in those few weeks. The Italian Job was the game that started it for them | wibbler007
08/12/2011 08:08 | Not quite; Sci produced war games & naf all else. Eidos was their undoing, as I thought it would be. Dope - you 10 bagged before, I presume? | napoleon 14th
07/12/2011 13:56 | They aren't in the same sector as SCI though ? | abarro
07/12/2011 12:00 | Yes I remember SCi. 10 bagged for me on the Eidos takeover. Later taken over bt Squaresoft | dope007
07/12/2011 07:11 | Zoo Digital's (LON:ZOO) chief executive Dr Stuart Green believes that the firm's ongoing diversification plan will help it recover from a faster than expected decline in its DVD related home entertainment business. The Sheffield-based firm supplies software that is used in all forms of creative media and as consumers have tightened their belts the home entertainment market, particularly for DVDs, has felt the squeeze. | lucky_punter
07/12/2011 00:00 | Disappointing, for sure, but just a minor holding for me. I wouldn't condemn the management per se, but the whole sector is liable to wild extreems of ups & downs, & sometimes sudden death! Remember Sci Entertainment? Still, I'm glad I went very long on EROS & ETO instead! | napoleon 14th
06/12/2011 21:51 | even their house broker plucking figures from cloud cuckoo land ... price target now 50p (reduced from 75p!!!). are they for real? | aphzombie |
